First questions of the summer: What fandom activity will keep you busy all summer? Are you going to complete your fanfiction epic, work on your fan art portfolio, or work to earn some money for a convention?
i am so excited for breaking dawn...i am SO excited!!! i hope that it will be as good as stephenies other books.....i hope that it's a good end-of-a-series book.....i hate it when end of the series books is horrible ompared to the rest of the sereies it relly bothers me...have you guys seen the cover of breking dawn it looks really cool and intriging!!! i cant wait for midnight sun either....have you guys read the first chapter of it???? it sounds good too:)

Maybe Bella will go the "Ugly Betty" route and do the "I Chose Me" thing. Then the fangirls/boys would kill Stephenie Meyer.
Of course, she has to leave some surprises if she decides to do the series from Edward's point of view.

Actually, you don't find out definitely who/what Betty chose to do. They left it open so you have to tune in next fall (unless there is an actor's strike).
I may be one of the people picking the book up at midnight.
Apparently, I don't know the difference between "chose" and "choose". ::facepalm:: I should never write posts at the front desk.

fanfiction: depends.
some are entertaining.
some never should have been written.
for me it really varies on the book being fanfiction-ed, the creativity of said fanfiction, and the relevance to the story. some fanfiction goes WAY off base, while others continues or elaborates an already incredible story.
I agree with you on that one. I have read some fanfiction that really expands upon the original storyline and explores the character's inner life.
Then there are the stories that I think someone ran through a "Fanfiction-O-Matic" (for example, setting Harry Potter in space. I'm sorry but NO!). Not to mention Mary Sue/Marty Stu stories.
Stephenie Meyers books continue to amaze me! :D
I would go with edward in the books, but on the movie definitely Jacob!

LOL! I agree with you about the movie actors. Every time I see Robert Pattinson, all I can think is "So that's what happened to Cedric Diggory! He's a vampire now."

idk. i don't really get into the whole "OMG EDWARD CULLEN IS LIFE" thing so maybe that's my pet peeve? it doesn't bother me i just think it's a little...odd? lol :)

I can't wait for Breaking Dawn! I hope something goes wrong before the wedding so they can't get married. Almost everybody I know hates Bella, she doesn't deserve Edward at all.
omg, i feel like i'm gonna die before Breaking Dawn comes out!!! Now i'm rereading twilight just waiting and waiting.
It will be interesting to see what Stephenie has in mind for the series. You know there will be some kind of drama at the wedding.
The great thing about the outcome is that if you don't like it, there's always fanficiton!

i cant wait for breaking dawn either...but what im really xcited about is midnight sun. edward is my favorite character, and i cant wait to see what was going on in his mind...its gonna be awesome!
dude...i love how this is fandom blog, but all everyone is talking about is stephenie's books! there is more hype about breaking dawn then there was about harry potter! its crazzy!!!
and for the record, bella has to choose edward!!! if she doesnt, then i agree with sunbum...she doesnt deserve him!!!

It's funny, but I was hoping we could talk about all sorts of fandoms but I think the impending release of Breaking Dawn has overwhelmed everything. I can't imagine what this board will be like after August 2nd!!
